Back in 2003, Nike Sportswear released the Air Max 1 "Chili" in a White/University Red-Medium Gray colorway. Twenty years later, in 2023, the Tinker Hatfield-designed shoe will be released in a similar colorway. Color schemes are White, University Red, Pure Platinum, and Black.
This reps air max 1 is crafted from a mix of mesh, suede and nubuck materials. Unlike the "Chili" version, these versions feature a lighter gray overlay while featuring a reverse-colored tongue tab. A bold red Swoosh with matching bubbles, and a "Nike Air" branded heel paired with a black and white rubber sole complete the design.
